The Family Preservation Legal Fund is currently raising money to support The Quets Family, including Allison, Tyler and Holly Quets.


After being coerced, Allison signed only some of the papers for her twins to be adopted. However, she revoked her consent for adoption verbally within hours, and revoked her consent in writing within 24 hours.

Because of the unethical adoption laws, there is no revocation period for mothers who sign relinquishment papers in the state of Florida, where the adoption took place.

The Family Preservation Legal Fund has decided to support Allison, Tyler and Holly as a starting point of this organization for the following reasons.

  • Allison has spent her life savings fighting the adoption
  • Allison's case has inspired this organization to form
  • Allison's case is already very far along, and there has been an appeal
  • There is a lawsuit pending against the lawyers, adoption agency, et al
  • This case has a good chance of influencing following cases
  • This case has a ton of media attention already, and therefore will bring attention to this organization
  • Allison was coerced, has shown that she is a loving mother, and is able to care for her babies.


The Family Preservation Legal Fund will continue irregardless of the outcome of Allison's case. The purpose of this Legal Fund, is to show that people want families staying together, and that even with families that do not have enough resources, that they should remain a family and be provided support.
